Service Advisor

Job Description

As a Service Advisor, you will be focused on tasks surrounding administration of heavy duty equipment repair, maintenance, and scheduling for technicians. This position has an emphasis on continuous improvement, time management, and accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle repair, exceptional analytical skills, and customer service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Working with customers to address equipment concerns
  • Generate Estimates, Repair Orders, and Invoices
  • Provide continuous equipment status updates to customers
  • Collect Payment from customers
  • Schedule work for Technicians based off skills and abilities
  • Coordinate fleet repairs with dispatchers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years Experience in Dealership/Repair Facility
  • State of Michigan and/or ASE Certification in Automotive/HD Truck Repair
  • Proficiency with Shop Management Software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
